Another Month!

It's hard to believe that September is almost over, and that Maya will soon be 2 months old! The weeks certainly fly by!

In the last few weeks, we've continued to have some visitors, including a week-long visit from Grammy (with a few days with Pop as well). Right now we are battling some fussiness, which may be acid reflux. We got some medicine from the doctor, so hopefully that will help Maya, Mommy, and Daddy all be more happy! The good news from the pediatrician is that she continues to grow...almost up to 9 pounds now!

I'm Growing!

We had Maya's 1 month pediatrician appointment today, and boy, is she growing! She weighed in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces...almost 2 pounds over her birth weight! She is 20 1/2 inches long. The doctor said that, overall, she is doing great!

Hi all! Raj and I wanted to set up this site for our friends and family to keep on top of the all the activity with Maya! It's hard to believe that she is 5 weeks old already! The time has gone so fast, and I'm sure it will continue to do so. I will try to update this space as often as possible.

During this first month of her life, she has kept Mom and Dad busy with her frequent eating patterns and infrequent naps! We are definitely starting to see developmental changes in her - she is holding her head up more and more each day and looking around at everything with such curiosity! Her growth has been shown in her weight - after being born at 6 pounds, she was 6 pounds, 8 oz. at her last doctor's visit. She goes back to the doctor on Thursday, so we will see how much weight she has put on in the last couple of weeks.

We've also been busy with lots of visitors. If you haven't been by to see Maya yet, feel free to stop in!
