Christmas

Maya's first Christmas has come and gone! We had a great time at Grammy and Pop's house and got to see lots of friends and family. Maya wasn't too interested in opening a lot of presents, but she did pull at the paper some what. I'm sure that next year will be a whole different story! Unfortunately, we came back home, and Maya got a bit of a cold. Hopefully she will get better soon.

Here are some pictures from all of the events of the past week...

4 Months Old!

Wow - Maya is 4 months old already (as of December 6)! She is becoming so interactive; her laugh is one of the funniest things, and we continually try to make her laugh and smile (luckily it's not too hard!). She is becoming so strong and is pushing herself up and really trying to sit. She is grabbing for things, and when she gets a hold of something - look out! That grip is strong!

We had her 4 month appointment two weeks ago, and she is doing really well. She is ALMOST at 12 pounds (11 lbs, 15 oz) and is 23.5 inches long. She continues to be tiny (10% percentile) but is developing really well. Right now it's looking like she won't get Daddy's height, but I guess you never know when a growth spurt will hit!

Here are some pictures from her 4 month birthday. Enjoy!

You lookin' at me??

I LOVE playing with my hands and feet all day long!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving - our first big holiday with Maya! It also marked our first road trip and first time sleeping away from home. The road trip went well, and the sleeping did not! But we survived and had a great time at Grammy and Pop's house! Everyone loved meeting Maya. Enjoy the pictures!

Meeting G.G.

We also had Pop baptize Maya over Thanksgiving. She wore the same dress that has been passed down from Aunt Andrea, to Aunt Jessica, to Aunt Rebekah, to Mommy, and then to cousins Hannah and Sophia.

Maya really started to like toys over Thanksgiving - especially trying to eat them all!
Cousins!

Cousin Noah wishes he was baby Maya.

Over Thanksgiving, we also had the opportunity to visit with some friends...Tara, Jenn, and their families.

Emma, Maya, and Kaitlyn. Even though Emma and Maya are only a month apart in age, there is quite the size difference!
