I've fallen a little behind in my posting! The end of the year holidays were a busy time, and Maya's 18 month birthday is right around the corner! So before that happens, here is a little update from the last few months.
The last few months, the number of words that Maya says has exploded! It seems like she is trying to say something new every day. Some of her favorite words include Mama, Dada (although sometimes she seems to forget who is Mama and who is Dada), More, Ball, Thank You, Uh-oh, Banana (which she says as "nana") and her latest favorite - Dog (which, she says as Dog-Dog).

One of Maya's favorite evening rituals is her bath! It took her a long time to like it, but now she cries when we take her out instead of when we put her in!
We've also had a little bit of snow recently. Unfortunately, snow days mean no daycare and that mom and dad can't go to work, but oh well! Maya has had fun playing out in the snow.
Maya still only has 6 teeth, but I'm sure more will be on their way soon. We'll go back to the doctor for her 18 month appointment so we will find out how much she has been growing then. Stay tuned!
