9 months old

Maya turned 9 months old on August 6, and she is doing great! We went to the pediatrician for her check-up, and everything is good. She has consistently been in the 10th percentile for both weight and height. She is now over 15 pounds (15 pounds, 5 oz) and 26 1/2 inches long. She has started to try and pull herself up to a standing position, and even more fun, she has been giving us some kisses! They are a bit slobbery, but still sweet. Here are some pictures from her 9 month birthday (yes, she scratched her cheek; it's so hard to keep those nails short!)

Last weekend we went to Bethany Beach in Delaware. We went on the beach for a little while, and Maya was very curious about the sand...of course she tried to eat it! I'm sure that our trip to Ocean  City in July will be fun!

A Baby in Paris

We had a big trip to Paris 2 weeks ago! Given it was Maya's first international trip, we were armed with reinforcements...Grammy and Pop! Maya did a great job on the trip. She didn't sleep much on the plane ride there, so she was definitely tired by the time we got there. But by the second night, she was sleeping much better. Now we are just trying to get back on a schedule now that we are home.

We saw a lot of things while in Paris and walked around a lot of the city. We also took a trip out of the city to Versailles. Even though it was tiring, everyone had a great time !
