Maya turned 9 months old on August 6, and she is doing great! We went to the pediatrician for her check-up, and everything is good. She has consistently been in the 10th percentile for both weight and height. She is now over 15 pounds (15 pounds, 5 oz) and 26 1/2 inches long. She has started to try and pull herself up to a standing position, and even more fun, she has been giving us some kisses! They are a bit slobbery, but still sweet. Here are some pictures from her 9 month birthday (yes, she scratched her cheek; it's so hard to keep those nails short!)
Last weekend we went to Bethany Beach in Delaware. We went on the beach
for a little while, and Maya was very curious about the sand...of course
she tried to eat it! I'm sure that our trip to Ocean City in July will
be fun!
